In my search for a Tuscan S I have come across 2 ex demo's for sale. One at Henleys and one at the TVR Centre. Both are a similar spec but I am concerned that running in may not have been performed properly on these cars. Do you think my doubts are unfounded and I should be okay with buying one of these?

No diffinitive answer, but I know that I drove a TMS demo car and they insisted that it was kept below 3000 rpm as it hadn't been fully run in and also the T350 at Peter Smiths was subject to similar constraints so I was told by a friend who drove that. So if they are anything to go by I would suggest it probably has been looked after.

Besides, I believe that if the dealer plugs a laptop into the car there is a read out that tells them the maximum revs the car has been exposed to during a given period so you could always ask to see that...

Cheers

Same story at Castle - I had to wait a couple of weeks until they had run in their S demo.

Dpending on which S you are referring to at TVR centre, I have seen one being tyre spun and thrashed a bit by one of their employees when cold started,so you may wish to check on condition of tyres etc...
Email me offline if need details of which one.
