The (non-drilled) brakes on my July 2000 Tuscan feel a bit wooden, even when warm. Has anyone else found this, and if so are there any alternative pads which feel any better?

I would recommend you take your car back to the dealer as my disks are metal.

I'd get them checked, I have 'standard' discs on my 2000 car and they feel fine. I have heard Tarox are supposed to be very good, but then you'd expect AP Racing to be there or there abouts wouldn't you...

Have you had a serious drive recently ie on a track day or fast road work in a hot day (like last Saturday!), as you could have boiled the break fluid, which will make them less efficient...

Cheers

They stop the car OK, just feel a bit on or off, with not a lot of feeling between the two. I just wondered if anyone had played around with pads to compare.
