I seem to have a problem with the heater not blowing any hot air, everything else works ok.I have taken the heater control unit out from under the passenger side but all seemed ok in there.

Any ideas??

thanks,kev.

Could be the stepper motor that opens the hot air flap, they have plastic gears that tend to wear. You have to remove the main bonnet/scuttle and the motor is situated under the L/H black cover, although these can be difficult to remove as they are stuck down with mastic.

The scuttle has a couple of screws, on either end. You will need to take off the wipers too though. The left-hand black "box" has 4 screws holding it down and then needs to be forced out of where it enters the bulkhead I think - I need to do this shortly too as my system only blows cold air at the moment.

The right-hand black "box" has something to do with the aircon I think...not sure about dragons though wink
