Please! Does anyone know where I can purchase a cheapish trolley jack that will actually go under all corners of the Tuscan? Halfruads or Machine Fart would be easiest. Got 18" spiders and "g-String" rubber.

Can anyone also please tell me where it is safe to jack up the Tuscan, both front and rear?

Cheers!

I have a large trolley jack and just roll the car onto a block of wood before I jack it up.

A smallish 2T trolley jack will "just" fit under the car, but the block of wood idea even it its 1/2 ply is a good one.
Behind the front wheels, where the chassis goes in and across the outside, on the join is the place to jack up. Same at the back in front of the rear wheels. Its next to the body mount bolts. I use a small piece of ply between the Jack and chassis.

I have a small Halfords trolly jack. I just roll the car onto a plank of wood (around 2 - 3cm think) and then there is just enough room to get a jack under. The problem I find is getting an axle stand under there. End up having to put the jack onto some wood to get the stands to a workable hight.

Srewfix is a good place

They did me a deal on a 2t including 2 axle stands in a plastic case for around twenty something quid.

Very good, fits under all 4 corners NP

Why not a use a pair of scissor jacks or bottle jacks at each corner and then put on axle stands?
The front is just do-able with a trolley jack, but the rear is impossible unless its long reach. I would have thought bringing each each outrigger corner up slowly/together would be safe and less chance of breaking the windowscreen if the chassis flexes. I don't think jacking each corner independently is such a good idea.
My 1.5 ton scissor jacks does say only to be used for wheel removal... but does anyone know why ??? Is it because it hasn't got a stable base compared to a triangular axle stand ?? But not much difference to a bottle jack.
Scissor jack is also small and good to have in the boot.

PS I cheat 'cos I've got a 4 post lift, so I drop the whole car on axle stands in one easy go.

What kind of wrench can you use on a spider wheel to get the nuts off?

I purchased a Clarke low entry job for about £50 + P&P from flea bay does the job nicely.

Also I use a exhaust hanger rubber with the middle removed so it fits over the bolt the pad on the trolly Jack would otherwise rest on.

Same there.....there's a pic of the entire tubular frame with the points arrowed. In lieu of that, found this pic from another link (originally posted by Graham Varley)....
