RE: TVR Tuscan S
Discussion
The irony is that if this car came from America, everyone on here would consider it a bad joke. Just because this car is from the UK does not mean that I’ll blindly jump on the bandwagon despite it being one of the most VILE looking cars of all time. However the performance is impressive.
I’m also wondering why is it that simply because I have a different opinion I’m immediately branded a trool??

Until you see one in person (I have not only seen one but driven a few as well) you can't really appreciate its beauty. To be fair, I find the original Tuscan to be better looking - the add-ons on the S may help aerodynamics and stability at high speed but I don't think they do anything for the looks.
And you might not want to get too high up on that high horse about American cars' looks consider that abominations like the PT Cruiser, Dodge Viper, various Trans Ams, AMC Pacers, etc... have been spawned in Detroit.
Wasn't the new BMW that is turning everyone's stomach designed in the US? How about the awful new Toyota Celica? That was done by Americans too...
wow that car is beautiful. Damnit if onyl I had money and lived in the UK. America has such boring cars It seems like Europe comes out with something fun and new every week
I would love to a comparo against this Tuscan and a Viper and Z06. That would be sick!

It looks like my comments got quite a few of your panties in a knot. Well I guess you all can’t have good taste.
I think anyone that comes on here and slags off our cars the way you have articulated will always take a load of flak. To be honest you are in such a minority group with your views on the Tuscan. And with a nickname of 'Soccer Hooligan' I don't think your doing yourself or us any favours....maybe thats why they are calling you a troll?

Steady Alan - he just might be a Southend Utd fan??
well you're right you didn't .. I stand corrected, however your comments here and on the engine rebuild thread led me to believe that you didn't like anyone voicing an opinion different to yours, the theme being that anything that poo-poos an aspect of TVR design you happen to like is somehow invalid and not worthy of respect.
You'll no doubt be glad to hear though that i can fully respect that other people might have an opinion different to mine and also fully respect their right to voice it here on a public forum - where funnily enough the public are allowed to post with all their different views! I shall continue to voice mine I suggest you don't read anything else i post
LOL

What I object to are posters who come onto the site of a car they obviously dislike and make disparaging and inflammatory remarks for the hell of it and not just once either. Like I said earlier I for one get your message; you don't like how a Tuscan looks. Just for the record I will continue to read your posts you also make interesting and informative comments from time to time.

Mate, if the Tuscan came from America it would weigh three tonnes, have a 8 litre V8 putting out 200 bhp, be 6 metres long, and 3 metres wide, make no noise, and yes it would be considered a bad joke.
But i do agree the tuscan is one of most eVILE looking cars of all time.
