I had the side light relay in the wrong slot. I must have misplaced it when I removed it to check the fuses for the fans.

Andy, did you fix yours? if so wat was it as mine is now doing it. They have only just stopped working though so it may be linked to me taking my clocks out and apart at the weekend!

Mike, were your side lights completely out or was it just the rears like mine? Also did it cause your wing mirror controls to stop working? I've an odd problem to fix, ignition off and put sidelights on, mirror controls light up (I've not checked if the rear lights do too), then ignition turned to pos2 and the wing mirror lights go out. The rear no plate and side lights also don't work. Anyone got any ideas?

I seem to recall that they were both out. I didn't try the wing mirrors so don't know.

Well after removing the fuses for sidelights and the relay tonight, they have started to work again! Lets hope this is a fix for good!

I did have a similar problem but it was evident in fuses blowing.

The wiring loom for the lights is routed around the rad, the loom had been chaffed on my car causing it to short and blow the fuse. Maybe worth checking you have continuity along the loom of you can... or just check in the same area!

Good point to note thanks, I have just replaced my rad so could have shorted something then.

Did anyone find a solution to this problem? I too am experiencing the same issue, no side, tail or number plate lights! All other electrics seem fine, relays and fuses checked, all connections I can find checked.

Really frustraiting!

I had this problem, I think it was a couple of circuit board relays on the display POD. I sent them off to Paul Smith, PS Electronics cost about £60 all in

Relays in question are on P2 of this thread... easy to get hold of, but like all relays a bh to desolder/resolder

"There's nothing new" only subtle differences in TVR faults.

The rear lights on my Tamora aren't working; front sidelights and mains are fine but when I turn the switch on the rear fog light also illuminates (at least there is something red at the back).

I have also noticed that (sometimes) two yellow LEDs next to the fog light switch light up when the ignition is off.

My assumption is there's a dodgy earth somewhere but while i'm chasing that is it worth trying a new switch unit?

Dash Pod connection fault to the plug. Wiggle the left hand bottom wire. Red and white I think. That’s the side lights front and rear. Possible bad connection or dry solder joint on POd
