Couldn't believe it. Spotted this RHD Tuscan S Mk 2 on the I75 South between Lakewwod Ranch & Sarasota. I used to have one of these in cascade purple. I went all misty eyed. So' looking at the registration plate I'm guessing that this is a fellow Brit who brought his machine to Florida. I wonder how he got passed the emission controls.

Good spot.

He really needs to take the roof off in weather like that!

This was late morning. So, about 82F. I'm sure that he would appreciate the A/C.

Seeing as it was spotted near Sarasota it's probably the one for sale at Mirabella Motors in Tampa. It's up for sale at US$159,000.

It has U.S tags but there are questions regarding the legality of the import..

Yes, I called Mirabelly Motors in January as I was in the area.
They have been rejecting offers of around $100,000.

The guy said it was road legal registered and out of someones private collection.
Lovely colour but not to sure about the wheels.

Anyway car is no longer listed on their site so maybe they sold it ? How much ?
Maybe I shold give them another call. He also said that he would accept more Tuscans from the UK and that introduction onto US roads was no problem.
Think I'll start a new thread .......... 'How much would you let your Tuscan go for ?'

It was recently listed again on ebay. Reached over $90,000.00 us. Many of the bidders have no previous purchases/sales listed in their counter. Very suspicious.
Auction ended as sold.
Listed again on ebay for the next 6 days. "Buy it now" price of $400,000.00 us.

They may indeed have a car but no grasp on reality.
