Ive always loved Cobra's, I can still remember the first time i saw/heard one, its been my dream car ever since!

I think the AC owners club will be disgruntled if an 'original' is more obtainable now, but i wish AC the best of luck and really hope this takes off well for them! fingers crossed!!

Can you explain 'devalued' for me please? What evidence is there, to support the notion that any original Cobra has been devalued through the existance of replica's or 'copies', either finacially, or desirability-wise?

More's to the point, I struggle to understand how this 'merger' with High Tec can be a good move for AC? Does it not effectively make AC a maker of replica Cobra's?

Can't offer evidence it is simply my opinion. There are a few horrible copies out there.

Carroll Shelby once said at the Haynes Cobra Day in 2004, "If it weren't for the Replicators, we probably wouldn't be here today."

He realised that it was the replica car market that kept the value of originals as high as they are.
