School boy error, always head towards the airport 'restricted airspace' to loose the chopper!
Or go down into a dried up concrete irrigation canal and hit the nitros; provided he's in an A-star and not an Apache he'll never catch you.

Sterile containment area? Just cal it a safe zone ffs...
Perhaps because with plod stopping a 140mph car by deflating its tyres is anything but safe? FFS
They should have used a marksman to shoot him dead at high speed. Otherwise, someone might have been killed.

Oh, hang on...

Still, they've got to have rules. Otherwise loads more zombies wouldn't have a job.

I saw a guy in a 3er being arrested leaving an M&S car park. Plod had managed to gridlock town whilst doing so & by not moving the obstruction for ages after. Well, if they have RFTs I'm sure they have a FRED that allows you do drive away whilst handcuffed...

+1

It's nothing isn't it ? Almost all BMWs will do that no problem.

I checked and even the current lowly 320i will do 146 mph.

You only have to go to the next model up, the 328i and you
are at 155 mph already.

He should have taken the handbrake off.

I feel sure that the majority of owners of even vaguely fast cars have got up around that figure at least once. I used to work with a guy who was a volvo salesman in the 90s, and said to me matter of fact that he used to max every new demo he received. Admittedly this only got interesting with the advent of the T5 when you were talking limited top speeds, but it was that era. There are far less safe cars at speed on the mway than a repmobile beemer doing 140mph. Ask any TVR owner!

I still think they should let us have a free reign on the M25 1 day a year, boxing day 2AM would work, to set lap times smile
