I've been a ford fan for a long time but i cant help but feel dissapointed by the latest news for the plans of the new RS focus,
http://pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=26...

Why oh why can we not see a cosworth 4WD RS focus! Following the example of the legendary Sierra and escort cossies with four wheel drive, a 4WD focus, in my option, should definitly be in production.

I think a 4WD RS Focus would be in high demand if produced,
What do you think?

I'm not sure about the excuse for not using 4WD in that article.

Apparently they only have Haldex and they can't use it because it is programmed to send torque to the front wheels.

So why can't they rewrite the program?

Yeah but u can't say u wouldn't like to see a 4wd version, the rally men would go mad for them.

I think we need something more exciting from ford.

I think it would have great potential on and off the track.

Disappointed??

The story is made from rumour, ford haven't even said they're making an RS yet, let alone what the specs will be.
