Saw this and thought it might be relevant to some of you guys with classic cars: Could you make money from renting out a classic car? How to turn beloved motors into money-spiners

"The idea of putting an underused classic to work, getting it to cover its bills and maybe even make a bit of money on top is not so far-fetched, says Graham Eason, of Great Escape Cars.

His Midlands-based firm specialises in renting classic cars to the legions of fans who love the idea of driving them but don’t want to go the whole hog and actually own one.

Customers can rent a classic for the day or weekend, or even join rallies where they get to drive a selection of vehicles over the course of a day.

And while Great Escape Cars has its own fleet of vehicles, it also has arrangements with owners that allow them to rent out their classics."

Seems pretty risky to me - trusting your car to someone with no real oversight, but an interesting way to help share the love of classics.

Also anyone with an under-loved car at home could help pay for it's upkeep - has here anyone tried this?
