Driving Tests: Why are more men passing than women?

"I think there is still a bit of a subconscious stigma around female drivers being bad" - Olivia Stevens, 22, from Cardiff clearly blowing that myth out of the water by taking SIX attempts to pass
This is going to sound terrible but me and the other half played a game where we tried to predict the sex of the moron drivers we came across on our lasted European road trip. Every single one was a woman bar one.
My other half is actually a very good driver with the exception of a bit of mild tailgating at times.

Men tend to be more aggressive, take risks which end badly and can be more confrontational.
Women on the other hand tend to be more oblivious, more unnecessarily hesitant and seem to have more trouble with spacial awareness and judging speed and distance. My missus would put herself in this latter category, and I'm probably more the former.
Loads of bad drivers around. Some are women, despite the modern mantra that women are better at everything.

Quite possibly so. Enough confidence to pass, then too much confidence after. Kind of supports my thoughts about a follow-up test between 2 and 3 years after passing, and then every 5-10 years. I know we have a shortage of examiners and instructors, but …
Tbf, sitting my 2nd test after i got my license revoked in my 2nd year of driving only boosted my ego further.“Don’t worry, I passed my test 1st time, both times! Only got 3 minors on both combined too!” Was my genius line of thinking.

In 20+ years of driving, I've noticed that generally (and it is a generalisation) men and women drive badly in different ways.

30+ years and I agree, with the exception that my observations indicate that women in SUVs and young women in Minis seem to have more of the aggressive, bullying traits usually attributed to bad male drivers.Men tend to be more aggressive, take risks which end badly and can be more confrontational.
