4 speed auto?

That really is ridiculous.

More speeds than that is mainly fashion. If you have a lightish car with lots of low down torque, why would you need more? If I recall TVR deduced that the Speed12 could have got away with a three speed box without too many negatives!

For those who fancy seeing one of these in the metal I would envisage there would be one at the Bristol concours in... guess where?.... Bristol this coming Sunday. As well as stacks of other Bristols.

It is at Blaise Castle and when I know more I will post.

"Speedster" should be replaced with "Trundler" for accuracy.

Bristol have plenty of detractors, people who criticise their cars as throwbacks to the past and yet somehow Bristol manage to stay afloat year in year out.

I like the way Bristol do things; if I could afford a Blenheim I'd have one tomorrow.

Me too! These are bespoke motor cars - even Morgans are 'off-the-peg' in comparison. If I had a quarter-mil spare, my name would be down for a Fighter bloody quick-smart.

An interesting observation that some of you will find a bit 'nerdy', but I have read the text on the entire website and there is not a single typo or grammatical error that I can find...

Any company that takes that amount of care on its website in a world of diminishing standards has to be able to build some very impressive motors and long may they continue doing so!
