They could chop its weight in half and it wouldn't be any faster around the city and docklands, where most of these seem to be.

They gotta get this in BTTC (or at least a 320i). Can't they bring one out with the M3 body and homologate it for BTTC like they used to...? Same with the new Volvo... In fact do the same with nice looking Merc CLK, then you'd have real interesting BTTC instead of all those bloody Vauxhalls hogging the limelight....(Nice as they are they are still Vauxhalls)

Homologation Special to replace the 4l V8 M3 GTR, racing in the US ALMS race series. Try calling BMW to see where in the World they sell V8 M3s road cars.....answer 'Nowhere' and Porsche want them banned.

I'd like the engine in a Tuscan/Tamora/Cerbera though. Should last longer than 6K between rebuilds.

Any car that can lap the Nurburgring in under 8 mins has gotta be considered pretty fast dont ya all think, plus it would have to handle fairly well too. Id have to agree that some BMW's have felt souless, but not all, ask anyone who has driven an original e30 m3.

Nick.

Give audioguy a break, he's from the land of the bland. BMW's are actually quite sexy compared to the flaccid hardware most of them get from A to B in.
