RE: Motor Show: Lotus Evora

Pains me to say it , but this does look a disappointment. I would expect something a great deal more exciting to look at and ground breaking as the first new model from Lotus in 12 years. A 1350kgs Lotus is a backward step.
I really did hope for something far more advanced.
Now this week in Auto Express we read the new Esprit which did have a jaw dropping look has been cancelled and this car is to be completely redesigned on a yet further enlarged Evora chassis both longer and wider. Oh dear !

Saw it at the show and thought it looked awful. Unbalanced lines, very badly put together. I thought the Elise and the Europa on the stand showed the car up.
