64% or so of people (who phoned at that time of day mind !!) disagree as it is insulting.

What worries me is that these people would rather have some dangerous blind old sod with no reaction time on the road cause a road test is demeaning ?!?!??!!? FFS..

Didn't actually see it, but if you ever watch C4 at that time of day you will see that the target audiance is quite likely OAP's
just watch the adverts - Saga, Stanna Stairlifts, Those tilting Beds, etc, pretty obvious which way the vote would go!

I know it's far fetched but it does make you wonder if the govenment encourage these daytime chat (prenouced cr@p) shows to invite people like QW on just to discredit them?

Clarkson was on the same show recently, I didnt see it but he wrote about the experience in the Sunday Times. Judy made some comment about "all cars being the same - why buy a fast one?" and cut to the next item without giving our man JC a chance to comment
