Why can't these people go and spend their money worrying about someone else for a change! If I ever meet this guy I'm gonna slap him... with a nuclear warhead!
I listen to loud music in the car, sometimes it's fast tempo, sometimes it's slow, I do drive quicker when listening to fast tempo music but I don't take any risks!
My,my,my, such rage. What's the matter tvradict? Did this research give you a flash back of a silly accident you had while listening to fast music?

Good News ! I played AC/DC's Highway To Hell VERY load on the way to work this morning and I'm still here
Bad News, the British Bleating Corporation picked up the story and ran it on "Today" this morning.
I played that on the way home last night too, mowed down 4 kittens
Hmm...what a baaaad "ass" you are! Now tell me, did you do that on your bicycle while listening to your walkman?

Thats what I get for going skiing, I miss the greatest event of all time, the chukmeister returns! How you been???
I asume you have kept up to date with the goings on in PHland!
If the silly accident you are reffering to is the one involving the horse shit on the dodgy road! My radio wasn't installed at that point, it was in my old car! But yes it was a silly accident!
My rage is brought on by these so called scientists who do research into something as stupid and music tempo and then tell us that we can't listen to fast music in the car! Why can't they research things like bumpers that don't break when someone bounces a football of it, or windscreens that disperse water without the use of wipers!
Steve, the plural of "y'all" is "all y'all" OK
Sorry all y'all
This week's CD changer load:
Ride The Lightning - Metallica
No Remorse - Motorhead
Appetite For Destruction - Guns'n'Roses
Youthanasia - Megadeth
Burn My Eyes - Machine Head
Led Zeppelin IV
I've just survived a trip to MK up the M1 - so far so good
I confidently expect the kitten population of Surrey to reach zero sometime later this week
Hmm.. not bad Steve - try these from my changeover last night:
Some Thrashiness:
Tool - Aenima
Ministry - Psalm69
Nine Inch Nails - Downward Spiral
And some Bangin'ness:
Roni Size - New Forms (No guitars but 160+ BPM )
Beastie Boys - Sounds of Science Disk1
Underworld - Beaucoup Fish
I reckon that covers it - Hampshire's kittens, foxes, dogs, horses, children, lollipop women, traffic wardens are all officially endangered..
Come on - wot's everyone got in their CD changers?

Re: Music in CD Changers - I favour a bit of loud modern punky music, New Found Glory and anything off the Drive Thru Records label, Bowling for Soup, Uncle Brian, Less Than Jake etc And yes it does make me drive too fast, especially sun out roof off! Anyone else into that sort of thing, or am I alone in the UK?

Track 7 off Flukes album Oto, it gets quicker and quicker and quicker....
In fact any up beat dance tune will do, but would suggest avoiding Mobys 'Thousand Project' 1015bpm I think it was clocked at!
I have dreadful lead right foot syndrome with anything by the Chems, Leftfield (especially Black Flute and Space Shanty) or Underworld (apart from the first album and the downbeat numbers on Beaucoup Fish), which is probably the reason that the 3rd chems album, 2nd underworld album and first leftfield album are permanently resident in my autochanger!!
Also, if there is anyone out there who drives a wild coloured Tuscan and is a doctor then track 7 (Doctor?)off Orbitals latest album (The Alltogether) would be absolutely ideal!
Matt.

This "scientific" research into the correlation between fast rhythm and accidents is nothing new. Years of "painstaking investigation" revealed that the safest and most relaxing record to listen to whilst driving is apparently the late John Denver's "Take Me Home, Country Road" - as announced on Radio 1's newsbeat a few years ago.
I find Paul Oakenfold quite pleasant to listen to whilst driving. His music is available at all good non-ratio FTP sites, priced £0:00 (allegedly)
