Audi celebrate eight years of flouncing about
Discussion
I can't believe that's for real.
I recall mini racing in 1984 (mini's 25th birthday party at Donington). Eight blokes (two on each corner) carrying a mini bodyshell round a slalom course and placing it gently (at full tilt!) on blocks.
It wasn't that difficult but it wasn't that bloody light either!
BTW - we came second - beaten by Aston Villa!

The weight of this elder V8 body was 435 kg in Alu size 0,88 mm but many problems with robot-welting at this time ( test body ). The newer bodys made problems also (in finish) at the first time. Audi has for the A8 alu-suspension and a lot of parts insite in lightweight. But motor, gearbox and quattro is heavy.
