The weather is great and I need my TVR fix! The Cerb has been in the garage for 5 weeks and I am heading off on holidays later this week - so it looks like I might actually not be driving it for the whole 'summer'! I really do miss it! Maybe its time to buy a 2nd sports car to reduce the pain.

Obvious solution would be 2 Cerbera?

I was thinking ahem a 911 Carrera 4 - not very fast but fun enough and with the 4 wheel drive my wife wont lose the back end (so easily). A 996 can be had for £20K. But then I would get rid of Cerb and buy a £45K+ car instead (or throw a bit more in.....). Stop!

What's up with your car?. I just came back from 3 weeks holiday and was DESPERATE to get out in in so god knows what 5-6 weeks would be like. But when you do get it back it will feel terrifyingly fast after being out of it for a while. Here's hoping it is going to be a late good summer

Here's hoping it is going to be a late good summer Nothing wrong - just had to get new backplates made for airboxes (none off the shelf and none at breakers), had an exhaust made, needed quite a lof of time spent on throttle bodies, its been on the rolling road twice for a tune/map, serviced and a few other bits n pieces. So its just taken longer than it would if parts were on the shelves etc... Hopefully it will be over 440bhp when I get it back.

Well, the holiday was always going to be Cerb free time. Keep the faith and look forward to releasing all those extra horses when you get back. Look forward to seeing the power chart If it's any consolation, after an extended respray which started during our stunning April I am now (suffering) an extended holiday 1200 miles away from the Cerb. As the eternal optimist I am confident that we're in for a fantastic Indian summer this year.

My holiday was 2 weeks in France in the X5 leaving a week after picking up the Cerb! I did half heartedly suggest we took the Cerb but with 2 small kids plus luggage it wouldn't have worked (just about managed to get it all in the X5!. As much as I had a fantastic holiday I was itching for a blast in the Cerb.
Could you not drive the Cerb down with the kids in it and the Mrs follow in the 'support/family vehicle'?

As long as you promise not to tell anyone... I'm pretty smitten with the Cerb, I have a crooked neck from looking back over my shoulder each time I park up and I can't stop cleaning and polishing it! I think I'm driving it more than I did the Tuscan. It feels more solid. whereas the Tuscan felt a little brittle like it could break at any minute. And the Cerb handling is just in a different league. The Tuscan felt like it was trying to kill you, the Cerb feels like it's on rails by comparison.
That said I do miss being able to get the roof off and still love the SP6 engine in a Tuscan, it sounds awesome on full chat with CCC cans. If I'm honest my 4.2 with sports zorst sounds a little quiet by comparison. I'm sure it's not quiet but am looking forward to the rolling road day in a couple of weeks so I can meet a few other Cerb owners and see how mine stacks up. Don't expect mine to put out huge power but will get a bench mark from which to build!
