Where's that video of you blasting through Derbyshire ? Or has it been deleted in case people made the connection to your TV identity

Hi graham
I await the latest plan from RP but hopefully very soon. Haven't had my car properly now since about April last year so it will be hard to build the love again. Won't be many cerbs that will have had so many tens of thousands spent on them out there though.

My bill for this year has also been a bit of a large one, Maybe we should have clubbed together a bought a Sag ?

Good to hear yours is not far off being done, I'm sure the love is still there Gary, you just need an empty A road and a tank of V power wink

A sag, my car cost plus running costs are easily in buy a sag territory!
Don't want a S6 anyway. So if it's not a cerb then I guess it will be a 911 Turbo...?

I'd rather have a DB 9 than a porker. It may not be the better car of the two, but it's looks and badge more than make up for it IMO.

I think the Aston will be 'trying too hard' and too fragile... I think a 911T will be an everyday car that I can put the MTB on the roof, leave at the station all week, get more than 2 ft forward in snow etc I don't want one with a passion but I think I'll maybe give one a try....never thought I'd say that...

Any particular reason why you don't want a S6, after all you were quite impressed with the power increases achieved by the various companies, also is a Porsche not a 6 cylinder engine, or are you just and AJP8 man through and through, just interested, nothing else.

I guess I just associate tvr's with v8's and can't see past that. My earliest tvr memories are of rover v8s.
Nothing anti s6, never driven one and never will I guess. Not even been in one.
The 911 thing isn't about the engine, it's about the package. A tvr for me was foremost the engine, secondly the shape and thirdly the dynamics etc
Have had a couple of glasses so prob makes no sense.

No it makes sense, i guess the whole TVR experience is wearing a bit thin for you at the moment.............you can drive mine one day if you want, probably won't change your mind, but at least you will have tried one.

I'll prob stick with it....just disillusioned. Suspect that will pass once fixed, run in and proven.

Hi Gary

You are welcome to take my 996TT out for a blast if you are back down this way. Although some of them are well over 10 years old now they are very capable, relatively cheap to buy and run considering the performance that they offer, also very tuneable too if that's your thing. The 997 variant has also become a lot more affordable with some being out for a good few years now too.

Cheers

John
