Well for me I would like to try the 6 hour classic this year. Proper old school racing. And hopefully it will still feature a Cerb owner in the line up, in the form of Phil James. Although I would love to do another track day at Spa. The trip for me has always been about the run out there and a great bunch of owners that go along. The nights out are a real crack. No matter where you end up.

The 6 Hours Classic at Spa is a great race meeting to attend - fab relaxed atmosphere in the pits and some truely great cars to see...
I will be there racing a TVR Grantura - unfinished business from last year when we lost the fan belt and cooked the motor - pretty much all of it from the repair bill....
The nut behind the steering wheel at the time has been educated since - Red Lights are NOT good Lights !!!

Out early doors Sat morning and back mid arvo Monday? Quick look and tunnel looks like £104 for out 0750 and back 1620, DFDS Dover - Dunkirk is £58 for out 0800 back 1601. Earlier options of each (both outbounds and inbounds) available, price remains much a muchness so this is just a best guess comparison. Like the ferry but then tunnel is quick and I guess the earlier we get down there the better on the Saturday. I'm easy... but hey you guys already know that

Not too fussed either way TBH as there are pro's and con's for both. I think we should just wait and see what the general feeling is. So, c'mon guys (and gals) whatddya recon?

Slight preference for boat (full English followed by relaxation in the club lounge). Much more civilised and cheaper, who cares if it takes a bit longer

If you're talking about he Spa 6 Gary then you better get on the and sort out some accommodation pronto. Was only a couple of rooms left in the hotel we are staying in (the Blue Oyster Palace or summink) and that was a month or more ago. I prefer the train for speed and flexibility, but if I have to go by boat then an earlier return please (brownie points and not having to run he M25 in rush hour) I suppose soon I will have to swallow some brave pills and tell Mrs Fubes I'm off on another trip without her

I could be up for this now I favour the train option though. It looks as though I will have a spare seat if anyone is brave enough, as Sarah is on a Hen do that weekend. Are you looking at the Radisson Blu Balmoral or the Radisson Blu Palace?

Don't be a pansy. Book it and worry about transport afterwards. At the very least it'll give you the motivation to get it sorted.
