Funny you should mention kitchen & clutch in the same sentence, when i did my slave i put the bellhousing in the oven to heat it up to expand it and the slave cylinder in the freezer to shrink it so it would just drop into the bellhousing!!! The other half was not impressed.!!!

hehe Yeah, I remember putting the gearbox from my Yamaha 350B in the oven to try to dislodge a seizure. Unfortunately it transferred to my, then, Mrs.

Forgot to clean the oil off and almost destroyed the kitchen hehe

If so, how did you make your Clutch adjustment in the end (Sorry for pun)

My brain is still having difficulty getting round how I'm going to set it up so that excess pressure isn't put on the fingers scratchchin

RETA

My bell housing is an early type.. TVR made a few variants, so that would explain the casting differances.

My Cerb has never broken its clutch fingers. So we just changed the clutch and slave and put it back together as it was. ( the clutch on mine was worn but not slipping )

Sorry, I car nt be much help, re the adjustment

Love that joke where the Psychiatrist shows some client 3 different Ink Blots and the Client sees tham all as erotic pictures. Finally the Psychiatrist throws his pad down and declares "You're a pervert !" to which the client replies
"I'm a pervert ? You're the on showing all the dirty pictures !" wink

... and how, Sir ! Absolutely brilliantly !

You cannot imagine the level of relief that coursed through my heart after I'd tried to draw all the bolts up evenly, feeling the shaft tighten then, when they were fully torqued, the shaft became perfectly free and easily removable and re-insertable.

You are a saviour ! thumbup

( Just re-read that and realise I've entered myself for of the year )

ETA
