After delicately highlighting that my Wiper motor is on its way out by blowing a fuse during a down pour on the M40... If anyone spotted a silver Cerb diligently following a lorry northbound on the M40, it's because I could just about to see brake lights.
Anyway, my headlights have now failed. Or rather just the high beam, side works as does full beam but no Dip.
Having a look at the ECU's, the Dim/Dip ECU has a scorch mark on one connector ( on the orange relay side ). Now my question is, would that perhaps be causing the main beam to fail or would that be down to the lights switching unit? ( Which looks fine ).

Taken the lazy approach, both boxes on there way to http://pselectronicsolutions.co.uk to get tested and repaired. What to fix next! : )

Repair, FUBAR style Where are they based, any idea of costs?
Been quoted £60-£70 and a week for turnaround. I could crack out the soldering iron, but i would be doing "Tracey 7/5/97" & "Karen 24/4/97" a disservice with my crappy soldering.. : )
In fairness i have no way of testing other than with the car, and as i'm shortly getting a HID upgrade rather it was done & tested properly in case something goes wrong with that install.
