Thank you GTRENE I appreciate your comments we have put to much work into attention to detail I am building it for a friend so want it just right your BMW looks fantastic is that an s62 motor ?
Thanks John, It is based on a BMW M coupe but its not a BMW, its a original Hartge Z3 coupe 5.0 (Z47) so has a Hartge chassisnumber (not bmw) its not a S62, although the S62 is based on a M62
its a M62B44 basis but tuned by hartge with lots of Alpina parts (like from the E36 B8 Alpina) and other to make it 5.0, this engine is the same (also the ECU) as from the last 3 Ascari Ecosse engines which Hartge made for Ascari (they also did the 4.7 etc)
So very special/rare...but most people still think its a BMW with hartge tuning, but its not, Its a real Hartge also by brand (not tuner name) and there is only one worldwide and comes'with many documents, it was Herbert Hartge's own car, I still have the German paperwork/road approval stuff? with him as the owner.
The nice thing about the car is, it feels like a crossing between a good TVR Griffith and a good BMW M car
I have owned 2 TVR's with V8 (rover) and loved it but not all of it ;-) also loved the revving from say a BMW S50B30/32 or S54B32 which the Rover did not so smooth al the way up, the Hartge does with 420hp and 6-speed short shift, its reliable and great sound and feels just right.
But I love many brands and TVR is still high in the list, specially the older types with V8 or conversion, like the grantura/griffith or vixen/tuscan or M series with V8, I don't drive that much so they will be fine when you have a good one, I like little not to heavy cars with V8
When is that Cerbera ready you think?
I also remember a lovely 1999? example of one of the 'original' converted (by swiss importer) LHD for sale in Monaco I believe it was ....a yellow car but then still a bit pricey but beautifully made interior, like original (on pictures at least) but then in LHD

We like this hand brake arrangement ...I am building a tuscan challenge car for the road...and need to have a handbrake for the MOT...someone else has already asked I'd really appreciate an idea of how you did it...If you post a reply that would be good...or email me details be helpful..
An excellant peice of work...what a fantastic example well done ...a credit to you mate!

Gtrene ,,,Well it looks fantastic !!! I have to Ascari kz1 gt3 cars that run tuned s62 engines great pieces of kit
thanks and wow, you must be a Ascari fan very nice cars, ow wait your in Spain perhaps also nearby the Ascari circuit?
here the pictures of the ECU ? front the things they wanted Hartge to alter?
back that it was of the Ascari, they are still on the box ofcorse, part of history, also had contact with somebody @ Ascari about that and he knew about that ECU that was send back to alter.
takes a while to load that page because of many pictures, but then it starts at the Ascari part.

Off topic but I was wondering how much you would want to service an MR2 John?

Hi schimg. The cheapest way of doing it to mount a pair of spot callipers by fabricating a housing on the hub hi spec are inexpensive and not a bad unit , we used front discs 4 pot aps and a spot calliper with cosworth hand brake cables, works well but you need run six pots on front ideally with a bias control valve jIf you post a reply that would be good...or email me details be helpful..

Hi spec have some good handbrake caliper options, I got a catalog whilst at the autosport show, one is a brake caliper and handbrake in one, another has the options of mounting the hand brake caliper on to the actual brake caliper so wouldn't require any additional mounts on the hubs.
I also like ascari, although think its more a dream to be able to drive one.

No dream,,,,,, my company does race tuition could soon have you in one ,
yeah I've seen the hi spec calliper and hand brake looks good but you would still need to fabricate a mounting point as the mounts for the original 1 pot Lucas may not be strong enough ,the reason I use the ap 4 pots on the rear is that you already have them as spares if you upgrade the fronts to sixes j
