Wanted TVR Cerbera Carbon Fibre Fascia
Discussion
Just stripped my heater switch panel ready for a genuine gloss effect Carbon Fibre vinyl wrap. Also doing a set of Tuscan seatbacks for a fellow PHer. pics to come and it may be a transformation I offer the gang
In saying that I quite like the ally panel without the wood? especially as my interior ir red and portland grey... any thoughts.

Hmmmm, £2000 to do 'under the bonnet' - A Bargain The whole point of carbon is that its stiff and weighs next to bugger all. What would be interesting would be carbon doors, bonnet and boot......

i think I bought Carbon Al's old car recently that I am having restored there must be a few grands worth of carbon in it. I am having the interior redone so I am not keeping the carbon speedo pod or the rear shelf and egg if anyone is interested let me know.
But I have decided to keep the door panels
I have had the instrument panels, window switches, wheel centre and gauge pods carbon dipped to match the doors

Yes and No mate, Yes the lower would look cool but in my humble opinion I wouldn't do as its brushed Aluminium anyway the contrast always looked good against the wood therefore just the wooded areas for me. If you are offering to ours out and put them back in i'll wrap them... Definitely yours anyway... lol
After having wrapped some parts I thought I'd look into the Carbon dipping process as for all the curves on the TVRs must say its a great concept and the styles are massive. I thought I'd go easy and only had my spare fuel cap done so I could see the finish on the product. I went for a gold weave for this but am thinking silver weave may have to be done on my interior parts.
item came up really glossy and has that real carbon shine massive well done and great job by OTT Designs in Milton Keynes can deffo recommend if anyone wants it done to panels on their car.

I am going through the same process. However I have a mate who runs a company called Juno composites. They are going to take my dash and the heater surround and make a full carbon fibre dash for me.

I was going to hang fire until they had finished let them work out a price and then bring it to you guys. But seeing as how this post is knocking about I figured I might as well let you know its in the works now.
They gave me a sample sheet and the finish is out of this world, this is proper engineered carbon fibre product. With even the possibility of engraving it. I'm thinking TVR logo on the dash somewhere.
for anyone in a hurry the post above might be the better option, but for anyone who can hold off a while this might be just the ticket. If anyone wants a better quality pic of the actual finish let me know and i will take a few and post them up for all to see.
So this leads me to my question for you guys who have been through the process.
The little green circuit board in the middle of the picture below. Did you have to remove solder conections to get it off or were you able to remove the glue that holds the LED's in and remove it as single part.
Thanks
Rob
