I looked at the Parrot head unit, certainly does run Android.
They're pretty cheap at around £160..
(I actually just missed out on one for sale in the ph clasififed a while ago)
I can see no reason why we can't tailor a version that suits the Parrot system sometime after the initial release smile

Bit of constructive criticism here. You really need to change those colours, they are going to be nigh on impossible to see in the car if you use it anywhere other than in a garage I would have thought.

Even if you just make them contrast more will help. smile

On holidays right now and will be pushing out a very basic version as soon as I get back (more or less what you see above)

I wanted to deliver V1 with a fancy front end but wasn't happy with my first attempt so have scrapped that in favour of a more polished version.

So I'll release a very basic version as soon as I can and then a better graphical version later..

Those colours are pants I agree.
Maybe green on a black background would be better in the short term.

The graphical version allows you to change the size, position and number of dials on a page and allows for multiple pages. Which it remembers in between sessions.

Adie, quick question - have you or are you planning to implement any logging feature? I've been using Torque for android with the other cars and being able to push the data into excel post trip is pretty handy (I need to get out more, I know).

That would be a major benefit over the original software!

Yep, can do.
I'll also log whatever else is available on the phone as well (eg gps position, speed, altitude, lateral&vertical G etc)
