Thanks Aide. Yes if I sleep the tablet while using it and click it back on, the process is no longer running smile. Does look like the GPS module did it..

App looks good, need to try some 1920x1200 layouts, the default only occupies the top 2/3...

Thanks Aide, the idea behind flashing the whole screen on rev limit is that even though it's in front of the gearlever, it's within range of peripheral vision and would be enough to alert the driver to it. Maybe the dial changing colour would do the same - dunno.

I've yet to see the shift-light/hear the buzzer in mine, maybe it doesn't work or I haven't pushed it far enough, close but no far enough.

Aide posted mine in the wiki as far as I know.

Looking good smile

A couple of observations (makes a change for me, usually I am on the receiving end of bug reports):

  • the rev counter doesn't have max min
  • the injector dials don't seem to work
  • the fuel pump status doesn't work
Loving it though smile

Thanks, however I'll have to kindly refute your report wink
  • No rev min/max is by design
  • I didn't do the injector duration and it should have been removed from the menu - you'll notice that it's not on either of the default layouts - for diagnostic purposes it really doesn't help (IMVHO).
  • Fuel pump status works - you're just holding it wrong smile If you have the app connected to the ecu, with the ignition on and immobiliser on, the fuel pump status is red (i.e. not "On"). When you disable the immobiliser with your alarm fob, the pump and the rest of the ignition spring to life, and the fuel pump status fault clears and goes white.
HTH!

Fair enough.. Max min on revs would be useful, arguably the most useful of all the dials. Ok inj was on the menu so I used it, will remove it, I agree it's not that useful. Fuel pump status opposite from fan status which wasn't obvious to me.

Anyway it works really well - good work!

Sorry about the photos, I used the "Upload an image (beta)" link which doesn't seem to respect the orientation.

I mounted it with one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00L7PVRIG?psc=...

But although it holds the Nexus ok, it is only held there by friction and I have had to saw bits off it, so wouldn't really recommend it.

Thanks FYP, I'll add the MAX Rev marker and remove the inj menu items. Aide.

RS-AJP v1.10 will be on the PlayStore shortly.

Added Rev-Limit Dial Warning
RPM>0=Normal
RPM>6000=AMBER
RPM>6500=RED

Enjoy!
Aide
(Don't mind the other dial readings, the screenshots were taken while my phone was connected to the engine simulator)

Aide, just wanted to say thank you, your app was invaluable in keeping an eye on the health of the car during my outing on a runway against other supercars.
