I think this is a sign of things to come. For a long time now I have thought that the Cerbera was undervalued, it’s great to see a top and very well respected dealer reflecting the true value of these fantastic cars.

Take it from me, Cerbera's are extremely under valued.

Sold my 19k mile 99 mint Griff 500 in 2009 for 16 grand - won't be making the same mistake again! It would take a bid of 25k to shift me out my Cerb simply because I know it would take me years to find another Cerb as good as it

agree except i would have to be offered 25-30k for me to part, as to find the same car (colour, spec, condition) again would be near impossible. Thinking about it, even then i still don't think i would sell, because what could replace it for that money and give the thrill, drama, excitement?????

I love this!! As soon as mine has had it's tappet check at Austec I really need to put it up for sale. Been putting it off for ages but if they are going to be £34k, that just might be the insentive I need!

Just noticed my cynical post of a while ago. To counter that, TVRs ARE undervalued compared to some of the junk that commands silly prices in the current classic market. I truly believe that hanging on to a good original TVR will pay off well in the future.

If it really was 'the very finest' then he would have put up a lot more photos of that engine bay

I recently bought DJR 7 for what I think was a good deal. With the new Tivs coming at 40-80k built to the same blueprint it means the timeless shape of the Cerbera means it's going to be back up with the others... Mark my words a mechanically sound cerbera price is going to BOOM!

No doubt you paid top dollar, but knowing Christian I'm sure it really was 'maintained regardless of cost'.

I agree good original Cerberas will only go up in in value you certainly won't see them going down in price. To be honest It is one of the reasons I still have my Cerbera as TVRs in general hold their prices. I only lost £1k depreciation when I sold my Tuscan after owning it nearly 3 years and I don't think I have suffered any depreciation on my Cerbera which I have owned for 4 years.

But please don't ask me to count up what I have spent on them over that time!!!!

Very nice M16kcy,but why has it been 'sitting there for 5 years?'.To me the whole point of the Cerbera experience is driving it? You well may be waiting for the prices to increase but if that car has been sitting for 5 years you will find a considerable investment will need to be put into it before its a roadworthy car again.;

Never really gone with the flow on prices. If I had a Cerb sitting next to a saggy, I'd still take the Cerb. I used to say I'd take the Cerb for the engine, but I think I'd take the cerb on looks as well.

Happy to be different.

I obviously can't look at them objectively. Objectively they can't be admired much as they are the lowest priced TVR.

Hoever even if I didn't own one and walked up to a TVR showroom, I'd be looking through the window thinking, the Griff is too small although admittedly pretty, the Tuscan and T's look a bit fussy to my eyes, too many curves and too squat, the Saggy looks like a ram raid on halfords, but the Cerb looks like a gown up aggressive GT racer.

If that wasn't enough brands on a few track days will show you that the 4.5 in wirlwind gruise is the fastest straight line TVR, or at least has been with me.

All that and its the cheapest. Go figure
