Very nice M16kcy,but why has it been 'sitting there for 5 years?'.To me the whole point of the Cerbera experience is driving it? You well may be waiting for the prices to increase but if that car has been sitting for 5 years you will find a considerable investment will need to be put into it before its a roadworthy car again.;
I put 20.000miles on it in 3 years before I took it off the road so I certainly drove it, but I moved abroad and taking the car wasn't a option, so I looked at the prices they were selling at and figured its worth more to me even if I can't drive it at the moment,

If they are going to go up i had better get my arse in gear and buy one then :-)

I am still watching the advertisements regularly but just havent had the time to get serious. Another worrying thing is that i have started to look at Tuscans for sale as well lately..!!!!

Best i get my investment sorted soon :-)

Update on my Cerbera investment official insurance valuation by experts (I won't say who) but based on mileage, condition and current market place they have said my vehicle is priced at £29,999 (how smug do I feel)!

A Cerbera as a investment rofl sorry but no, what It takes to keep these cars on the road if driving and using them not a chance, forget values you will get back what you paid core price for the car with ease but making a tidy earner wrong model i think. just my 2p worth and experience

Just drive them and enjoy them and keep rose tinted specs on, we all have to be mad to owns these crazy cars wobble

Opinions opinions, me using the word investment was perhaps the wrong word as ultimately I have no plans on selling! The enjoyment factor is what I invested in! 33k on the clock Engine rebuilt 10k ago and when it bangs another 4k gets me a new Power rebuild (tested to 250k) so effectively the car could run for ever! However with the highest examples fetching that price tag and the next wave of TVR soon to be above that value the vehicle is insured to keep me there!

Sell for £34,000? And buy what to give me the same buzz?.. No thanks I'll stick! And that's before I put the 5litre in it!

I`m with you on this Scotty,i have had my Cerb 8 years and never considered it an `investment`.To me the whole point of having a Cerb is the driving experience and the investment is what you spend keeping it on the road, and we all know what happens if they don`t get used....considerable investment to get them roadworthy again!

4k for a Power rebuild......suggest you have a word with Dom about that......17.5k for a 5 litre SP6 I believe.............guess that dents your investment slightly!

For the 4.0litre?! (Oh plus VAT not how I calculate) £17.5k is I want 5 litres but that's a mod so it's then not the car we are talking about. Owners can put what they want in the car I'm just talking about the Cerb.

At only £17.5k for a 5 litre with the rest of the car in good condition 100k miles down the line why pay £50/60k for Porsche or another marque when that unit gives you another animal (some may say that's cheap)

Currently only 15 Cerberas listed for sale on PH with a mean price of 17,350. Seems prices are certainly heading in the right direction!

Ah well, this prospective buyer isn't keen on this news as it will be at least 18 months before I can buy.

I can understand current owners being pleased though.

100% with you on that! The timeless shape means keep it cosmetically sound then a TVR power speed 6 rebuild every 150k miles means you keep getting a new car for around £5k lol... The thing can last forever

Err, that will be a 4.7 you are looking at sir, and 460hp! smile.

Ronan is being very modest - you should see the underside of his Cerb - the chassis is painted in a reflex colour and cleaner than the engine!
