The pics of the chassis are OK (but again why is it black is not waxoyled)
I know the remarks here are intended to be helpful but it does seem that almost impossible to win here nowadays?
The general gist of this thread is what a god almighty pain waxoyl is yet questioned when not used ??

Must be like the Johnny Cash song Boy named Sue" as there were Ronnie & Barry Pratt, when they walked in the pubs people suddenly had either large smiles or looked into there beers.

Thanks chaps, however after fielding 2 more ad repsonses questioning if it would come on spiders, I may well have to buy some new ones and put them on, then sell on the SP12s. (madness, but what can you do)

Where's the best place to get a new set? I wouldn't buy used as they're probably buckled but if I need to allow to add them to the car for a price then at least I know how much they are and where I can lay my hands on them, that way I can offer the car on either wheel and offset the cost by selling the SP12s to one of the 3 people who have already emailed me! biggrin

Pictures are great, car is fantastic but I would add a few more to the list of ....

Number plate
Aircon
DAB
Heated front screen
Etc

Just that little bit extra to clinch the deal. By the way it's 3k to cheap.

FWIW when I bought my Cerb it was sitting on SP12's, As I was buying from Fernies I asked them to put Spiders back on which they did. Had I known how chocolate spiders are I might have not done this as I could probably have sold the spiders and bought some decent alloys instead.
To each their own but I don't like SP12's, I don't think they suit Cerbs (curved body vs angular alloys) and I think they look even worse in black/anthracite. Having said all that, if someone wants to pay good money for a good Cerb which yours appears to be, they really shouldn't be put off by the type of alloy as its not a huge sum to buy a new set and flog the SP12's on.
I expect I would still have bought mine if it came with the SP12's as it was the best Cerb I could find, and at the end of the day that's what we keep telling people who come on here and ask what to look for. Good luck, I'm sure you will get a real buyer at some point.

whoever buys it now can decide which way they want to go as Ive reduced it to silly money. Bargain for someone and then can fit whatever they want to at that price. many fo you have contacted me after the SP12s, so if I sell it this week I will pass your contact details to any new owner.

Yes somebody is going to get a bargain. The 2003 plate car at 22k looks nice and both are as cheap as chips.

Im now looking to swap my 18" Spiders on my speed 6 Cerbera for a set of 18' Sp12s Can anyone tell me will these also require the lockstops like the spiders have?

Information would be much appreciated. Thanks

Finally I managed to get my hands on a set of 18" SP12s.

James Agger Autosport had a set on a Cerbera, he and I (after some incredible banta... and super fast talking) struck a deal to swap them and tyres that were fitted. He has a great setup and nearly ended up selling me alot more than I came to do. luckily I stood firm but he should of let be buy the child seat impact cushion!

After a 62mile trip home my review on the SP12s are... TBH I can really tell a marked difference to the Spider (until I get the steering stops removed wink ). The much wider rear 255 do inspire some confidence and I have the placebo effect of knowing they are lighter... all in allI think they look fab (Silver on Silver) and Im so happy to have them as Ive never liked the Spider... Massive thanks to JA for the very nice deal and great banta... the cup of tea was pretty good too. Topman!

I am sure my rear 18 spiders are 255s, unless they are 245 and I am confused (highly likely). Did you have thinner rear spiders?
