That is coming along nicely now John.

You are putting a hell of a lot of work into this and the quality is spot on.

We all look forward to seeing the finished project and I look forward to passing it on track wink

Nice work.

I've always found that the spacings of the chassis lugs for the damper mounts are a little hit and miss with accuracy.

those spacers and the spherical bearing are for the bottom a arm fixing at the upright end the other bits are the rod end carriers the shock mounts are rather different they have one fixed side and a bush which is floating on the other so easy to fit and tighten.

Just a comment about your lower arms, and I'm no engineer so probably to be taken with a pinch of salt

You have thick tubes with good looking welds going from inboard to outboard, but then it ends in what looks like a 10mm stud going into the main chassis and onto the wheel carrier.

Surely this 10mm stud is by far the weak point of your whole setup for the forces transmitted by the wheels to your chassis.

In the original Cerb you have a T shape metal bar bolted to the frame of the car which looks a lot stronger. I agree your setup is better for adjustment but those two areas look really weak compared to the rest of your setup?

You would be surprised at how small a rose joint you can get away with, I would probably go a little bigger for the road myself though.

I'm going that they're either M12 or 1/2 inch given that's the size of the bolts used on the factory suspension.

Fascinating post, just hoping there will be a Christmas edition, and can't wait to see this on a race circuit-track. Any race series entries planned?
