Doors and windows just stopped working..
Discussion
Busted the Cerb out for the first time in a while today.. Was going fine till I pulled up and went to get out and the doors wouldn't open on the buttons. Windows were not working either. Used the emergency levers, and the doors/windows came back to life.
The window buttons had been a little hit and miss for a while, but I thought it was the buttons..
Now the doors and windows are completely dead, and interior lights don't come on. The windows raised themselves up at some point and have stayed there.
Tried the disconnect the module trick with no luck.. Could this be reed switch failure? The passenger's door has been a bit temperamental for raising/lowering for a bit..

If it was just the doors and windows working intermittently i would say check the connections in the doors by taking the door cards off.
The fact you said the boot has also stopped working would make me think you have a problem with the box itself possibly.
Get out your multi meter and start making a list of what works and what doesn't work. If you find out the switches are all working but the doors and windows don't then the box needs testing.
I will try and dig out one of my old posts with a simple guide on testing the door and window functions. You can also operate the window motors manualy very easily to get them lower so they don't catch on the a pillar trim.

Check your fuses carefully. I had something similar and it turned out to be a fuse blown. If they are all ok then you are probably looking at a session with your head between the back seats, checking all the connections there and then tracing the feed for the door box with a multimeter.
I am wondering if I have upset her somehow.. I let the missus have a drive yesterday?! Maybe that was it..
Anyway... Battery was flat.. Few cranks and then click click click. I then spotted the headlights were on by themselves (switched off, no rear lights on). Doors etc still dead. No fuses blown that I can see. Jump it off the daily, 13.9v showing at idle so it is charging, did 200 miles in it yesterday. Had to pull the headlight control box plug to turn the lights off.
Big fuse is new.

Mine is doing weird (albeit different) things at the moment, for example the hazards start flashing by themselves. Press the button and they flash brighter or dimmer. Tapping the box seems to shut it up. My battery has developed a large electron leak though and although the doors and windows open fine, it's not delivering enough power to crank the engine after maybe 8 or 9 hours from a decent drive. New battery is in the post!
Do you suspect your battery or do you suspect an electrical fault to be draining your battery?

I would consider a new battery first. Cerberas do odd things when batteries are on the way out. A new battery often solves many electronic gremlins. Then replace the big fuse - I once had odd electrical behavior and discovered the big fuse cover/box had opened and while the car was pared outside it had semi-filled with water and submerged the fuse. I dried it all out and then replaced the fuse and all was well again.
I think often replacing the battery works as you effectively reset all the control boxes at once.
If you still have problems after replacing the battery and the big fuse then you can start looking for a fault. I would do those things first though myself as it doesn't cost that much or take too much time to do.

I went for a Bosch as it has very good cranking power and a 5 year guarantee. The only problem is the terminals are the wrong side - not that it causes any real issues it just means I would have to remove the top panel to disconnect it.
It seems to keep its charge very well too. I have left the car without connecting a conditioner for over two weeks and it still starts fine. That must be nearly a record for a Cerbera.

I've left mine with my new Yellow Top almost a month, no trickle charger - no problem at all. Highly recommend if no access to power for battery conditioner. ... and terminals the right way round!
