Given the money you put into it I'd say it'd be rude not to buy it backbouncebiggrin:

Why don't you go and test drive it to see if the thrill is still there. No harm in that... evil

+1 - Go do it!

I understand what you said about the 11k bill (if I was presented with an 11k bill I would expect another Cerbera thrown in too) but now it has had all that major surgery it has got to be good for 19k.

As I said the only way to know is to take it out for a test drive. If you feel you can't risk a test drive for fear of falling back in love then you should be putting down a deposit down already!

+1 sounds like you need to get back there and "try out the old girl", re-live the affair

I've only had my Cerbera 3 weeks, but it really is something special.

Just did a long weekend in Yorkshire - South London to Harrogate 4hrs drive up, then back via Burghley House on Sunday for a quick stop, then rocketed back home. Faultless.

Yours looks nice, saw it at Burghley, is it the one that was for sale at str8six?

Thanks, yes, got it from Str8Six. They looked after it the last 5 years too, great condition, I had to take the plunge!

Without wishing to be too controversial (and because a friend of mine had this exact same dilemma when the 4.5 Cerb he'd owned for 8 years came back up for sale), wouldn't it be a little bit like going back to an ex-girlfriend after she'd been shacked up with some other bloke? On the face of it it may seem like a romantic idea but in the back of your mind you would know that somebody else had been there... I don't think I could do it.

I think the answer is to keep an eye on the Cerberas in the classifieds and wait until something else jumps out of the page

I think this is where I am at to be honest I very much enjoyed my experience with that one but I am thinking more about a different Cerbera which still gives me the great ownership experience but will be a little different too.
