I'm going to back track slightly, typical hot dip zinc coatings are thicker than I thought, perhaps 0.1mm, which might add about 3% to the chassis weight. I'm guessing the chassis is no more than 200kg (remembering djstevec's body lift). So the zinc would add about 6kg...
