SPIDERS OR NOT??????????????????????
Discussion
I think he went for 17 too, but I'm really interested in the offsets, they look odd for those rims on a Cerbera. This is also why I'm interested in pics : there are only pics of 17" Rl7 on Cerbera, nothing else!
Concerning my question about 18x7.5 and 18x9.5, it was more about putting rather big tires (225 on 7.5 front or 255 on 8.5 rear) or stretching the rears (225 on 9.5). What would be the effect on handling (with something like Et35 front and et38 or 40 rear)? Everybody us talking about 225 on 8in rims but no-one cares about 225 on 7.5in rims. Why?
Thanks!
Julien

Hi!
Nice choice indeed! I'm very curious to see some pics to. What sizes and offset did you choose?
On a side note, what about using 18x7.5 front and 18x9.5 rear rims with 225&255 tires?

17 x 8j et 32 on front
17 x 9j et 38 on rear
Might be a bit tight on rear but I've had dyontorque and driftworks have a look and they said worst case scenario is a little fettling with the rear arch

I am running 17x9.25 et 36 on the rear, with a 255 tyre and it just kisses the inside of the arch under compression. 17 x 8j et 32 on front

Hi,
Thanks for the answer. I would be more concerned about rubbing at the front : I've not seen such an offset front whereas many run Et35 rear without problem. This is why I was curious : if it does not rub it will look very good!
Waiting for pics!

17x8.25 et36 with a 235/40 tyre on the front and loads of clearance for me.Thanks for the answer. What tyres/sizes are you running? (Might have missed it)

Fronts are 17" 8j et 32 with 225-45-17
You've done what I was thinking of doing up front 235/40 are getting hard to find in decent rubber.. No rubbing?

no rubbing at all. You've done what I was thinking of doing up front 235/40 are getting hard to find in decent rubber.. No rubbing?
I used to have a little rubbing when on full lock with the 18's on (225-40) but not with this set up.
Not 888. I'm trying Nankang ns2r .
Done quite a bit of research on these and have great reviews.
only had them on a couple of days but seem fine so far.
