I'm looking for a test car to trial some ideas I've been having for an improved cerbera 4.5 induction set-up.
The car would need to be with me for a couple of weeks, but in return I would remap the car for free for the owner at the end of the trial period before handing it back.
Usual dyno disclaimer would apply (!)
Anybody seriously interested please mail me through my profile, cheers.

Sent you a mail but I don't think it sent... Anyway mine is fresh back from having a full 12k service (inc tappets) at APM, so is running sweet at the moment.

Happy to help out.

I'm interested anyway (currently being serviced) so if you go with another car for the trial and your idea works out, I'd be grateful if you could let me know the outcome as I'd like the car mapped this year anyway and would go for the latest and greatest induction set up smile

When are you going to do something for us 4.7 nitrous breathing monster owners?

When do you think you will be ready to share some details on this ultimate evolution induction?

Yep! The remap on my 4.2 didn't release as many extra horses as it might have done on a 4.5 but it made a huge difference to drivability!

I will be heading back for a remap on the new 4.7 as soon as I have got it run in.

Well, see http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

but as said it's not about the figures but the driveability

spitfire4v8 did it! As far as I recall it added around 15-20bhp, but the real benefit was in drivability. As to cost, you better ask the man himself for numbers, but I certainly feel that it was excellent value for money in terms of benefit.
