Hi James!

Yes it is a wonderful car indeed!
He gave me a folder with a portfolio of the car But any more info you've got is more than welcome
I'll PM you my e-mail.
Are there things that need attending on this perticular car?

Yes he has quite an impressive garage. He was getting rid of the Cerbera, the Viper and the Z-Cars mini for a murcielago.

Hi Nils, first of all granulations! Very nice to have another Cerbera in Belgium :-)

I hope the issues will be solved soon.
As you perhaps know, TVR Belgium knows the AJP engine very well.
So perhaps and idea to talk to Marc.

Hi Nils,

Had a similar problem with mine and it turned out to be that the rear plugs leads werent clipped on tight enough, and the problem only came to light under full throttle when more lod was required from the HT leads.

Good Luck and a lovely car.

Hi Dutch!

Yes I know Marc very well.
But he's quiting TVR and handing it over to someone in Tienen.
So I try to respect that. Plus he's not to keen on working on Cerbera's biggrin
He really hates them biggrin

Well I'm going to do a readout today
But I'm going to replace the spark plug, leads and the coil packs.
It all looks like it has never been replaced (apart from the spark plugs)
It's not a big job and not to expensive parts.
And decided to make the backplates myself in aluminium.
£195 for two backplates is kind of steep IMHO.
I'll fabricate them myself with some 70mm tubing and 2 aluminum cutouts.
once painted black It'll be hard to spot the difference

Well, I think he does not hate my Cerb, own her since 2008 and so far no issues at all (only a funny A/C)
I know that he was "thinking" about handing over but so far he still serviced my TVRs.

And I guess you know that he owned a Cerb himself as well biggrin

And... I think I will have to see your Cerb in real smile

OF COURSE!!

It is a blast to drive.
Love the sound, the interior, the handling, the steering,...
I just love the car!

It's a 2002 mk2 4.5 in Grigio Titano and portland grey interior with blue carpets.
The pictures don't do it justice because it's a lot nicer in real life.

What's on the to do list:
-Short induction an remap from Joolz.
-Fix the airboxes (the back plates are cracked)
-replace the clutch master cylinder
-if there's any funding left --> performance headers
-Enjoy it as much as possible

That's one beautiful cerb ! Lucky man

Hi Nils wavey

As has been said - shoutWELCOME !

Don't know where you are in Belgium but I am in Luxembourg.
I have an '01 4.5 but I can't drive it at the moment
so
if you want to come over and swap different pieces in a "try before you buy" test then you are most welcome.

Misfiring under stress indicates Electrical fault rather than fuel supply (to me banghead) so it sounds like you are on the right path with plug/lead/coilpack replacement.

I presume that you are aware of the "Equivalent Part Nmbers" sticky at the top of the Cerbera Forum and that you know of MF Cars

Oh, and one final thing...
Did you know that there is a version of the TVR ECU Diagnostic software available for 64bit Windows from EvoOlli on his thread here

You baby looks beautiful !

Congratulations, Best wishes and thumbup

Hi Mr. Cerbera

thanks for the invite!
That would've been a great idea if I hadn't ordered everything yet wink

Yes I've already downloaded the diagnostics software but my local computer store didn't have the cable. rolleyes
They'd have it by tomorrow.
I indeed know MF Cars, but I don't want to bother him to much. He has enough work as it is smile

Thanks

Started making my backplates today.
Had some aluminium tubing laying around which happend to be the right size biggrin

Tomorrow I'm taking the old backplates off so I can make a aluminium template.
Cut it out and weld the 8 tubes on.
