Hi
Does any one have any pictures of what holds the battery in place. Mine is not fixed firmly so I'm guessing something is missing.

I called clever Trevor but they don't have any and can't get them so I thought if I could see one I may be about to make my own version.

I looked through my files and found one picture. Maybe it helps a little bit:

(ignore the rust...)

I bought a new battery base from clevor trevor for about £10. think it was closer to £15 when they had finished. I can take some pics later as i've modified (bent) mine slightly to secure a smaller optima red top.

That would be good I want to start putting all the little bits right then put the cover back on and get out on the road.

I went low tech and used an appropriate spacer made from a block of wood.

hear is the racing green battery tray after installation. It has 2 holes which you bolt through into the passenger foot well and a nut welded onto it so you can bolt the angle bracket bit onto it. My low tech solution was to bend the angle bracket to 45 degrees to give it that bit of extra to reach the redtop battery. Seems to work well.

Edited to say that all the white silicone is to make extra sure that no water ingress occurs to the footwell.

Thanks for the pictures
It looks like I'm missing the plate to bolt down to secure the battery. I may be able make or source one of those

up to you mate but for what it cost, less than £15 delivered i'd just buy one haha. At least then you have a good platform to bolt some sort of battery strap to. Then again, if you can fabricate a better method it might be worth your while.
