Hi my doors and windows stopped functioning today, ii checked everything possible but i suspect the control box in the boot is the culprit, also sold my other car yesterday and need to drive the car on Monday for work. If anyone is willing to let me try their control box this sunday just to eliminate it I would be grateful and with a few beers. Thanks

You could try posting in the PH Thames Valley and Surrey (TV&S) regional group too.

Good luck!

Sorry - I am not in the area to help.

However if you do find someone with a known good control box - do NOT try their box in your car. Try your control box in their car instead. If there is a fault with your wiring that has damaged your box, you may just kill theirs as well!

i'm in Wokingham give me a call on 07711 894 968. Happy for you to try mine on the condition that if it gets damaged you will get me a new one! If you bring your car around here would be best.

Paul, many thanks for your help on Sunday, loved your cerb.

The car was with Calvin, who has just done a clutch on it, but the problem is with the control box, so it probably needs an electronics/ecu repair man to do it, but i am planning to talk to him about this. Anyway I drove the car to Cardiff today from Reading today, thankfully it has been dry, in the process i had a new e65 amg wanting to play. They are very very quick but courtesy of Jools a clean pair of heels was shown.

Whilst in Cardiff i managed to get the car in to a specialist garage who have gone through the electrics and confirmed the issue, so now i need to find a repair place or replacement unit

Have you tried TVR Dean? They have loads of crashed and scrapped TVR's so I'm sure they will have one on the shelf they can ship in a day or so.....
