Hi all,

Yet another question I've seen some pictures of Cerberas with a subwoofer in the helmet hole. I do like to listen to music whilst driving and I think if can drive with a light foot I may be able to hear some above the exhaust and induction.
Anyway can anyone tell me what size is fitted and how it's fixed in there, a picture would be good the ones I've seen are just general rear of car pictures.

Thanks

Clive

I have a pioneer underseal sub fitted in the gap. I had to trim out the fibreglass slightly to make it fit but the carpet hides the slight bulge. It means I have a sub to add fill, with spoiling the original look.

Hi,

I have an 8inc JL sub build into the Helmet holder space, i had a fibreglass mould made to the shape of the hole and then fitted the sub.

I shall try and get some pictures for you.

Pictures would be good so I can get an idea of the fitment 8inch sounds about right.

Underseal did you mean underseat? If so have you fitted it in the helmet holder gap or somewhere else?

I'm not looking for big bad boy bass just enough to complete the sound spectrum lower end

Thanks

Spell checker on ipad smile

I have one a Pioneer TS-WX110A which I've mounted under the helmet holder. I needed to trim a little out but it works really well in fill in base. I'll try to grab some images tomorrow when I bring the car into work

I have a JL audio set up in mine smile

You will need spacers for the front speakers as the room behind is limited, also don't expect much bass from the front unless you cut holes in the door card through to the door cavity.

"I want to replace the helmet holder with a sub" - perhaps the best Cerb question ever, you know where you are. Admittedly the helmet holder does not hold full face helmets, believe me I've tried, but it does cope with Small open face, and possibly Medium too.

Got to agree - cracking interior. Gives me ideas about a re-trim for mine.
