As described in a previous post my window/door control box has just failed, I contacted PS at electronic solutions who seems to be the only guy that can fix them but it cant be done until the end of august.

If anyone with a cerb not in use at the moment is kind enough to lend me their control box for a couple of weeks, i will repay in cash or beers, helping them in times of need etc.

After years of reliability, i have experienced sequential problems this year (suspension, alternator, lambda 1, starter, clutch/slave, lambda 2) and haven't had the time to enjoy the car, this is the latest on the list just 1 day after everything was sorted.

Any help or if you can suggest any other repair place will be very much appreciated

Could try Bell Hill for a used replacement? Racing green also list recon ones but they're not cheap.

Just post it here:
http://pselectronicsolutions.co.uk

From what I have heard from other people Paul charges £75 and usually fixes them within a week.

That's bad luck. Have you tried these:
http://www.the-ecu-doctor.co.uk/

A few people on here have posted they have fixed a door window control unit in the past.

Oh and there is also:
Cath Mason 07894714973
cathymason73@hotmail.com

I don't know if she is still fixing TVR units but I had heard that that's where some of the control boxes end up when you take you car into some well respected independents for repair.

Spoke to Cath also, she only repairs dashes, haven't left a stone unturned, any other suggestions would be appreciated though

I may have one that would work, your welcome to try it. and borrow it if it works.

Deposit may be required as i have lost out on not getting control units back in the past.

Hi Kostas,

Could really do with the door-in chip being returned as the unit is pretty useless as a spare.
