Got the door card off (nearly) as the last bolt holding it in was sighted by satan!

so pried it looking for my door close magnet thats gone AWOL and didn't do too much digging but cant find it yet.

I did investigate damage and there is a slight cracking on the sill inner.

Best bit was the marking on the door was definitely all on the vinyl wrap so cut part out for now just so i could smile a bit more.

So I've left the rest on till it gets to Topcats Racing at the Weekend for my "other bits" to get done

I would not be fitting cap heads there tbh.. In a few years when removal time comes that will be lots of swearing imo.

Dropped the car down to Top Cats for bits to be done... while there Wassa kindly got my plug cover off for me to wrap. The original paint had been looking shabby. So I decided on a black Carbon wrap with some Chrome SS lettering I had made up for me a while back.

Car could be ready for next weekend with all its added features.

Edited to add Massive thanks to ksv Colin for the lift home.

Likewise mate. I'm sure will all get sorted.

PS don't get rid... That would be up there with one of the worst things a man could do lol

Unless it's had its last chance on winding you up!

Steering Wheel back on with additional wires so wipers are now working on the right side of the wheel

4 small push in plugs that can be swapped around at anytime to relocate wiper flash and horn functions in what ever position you want

Today I was down at Topcats for the Sunday service so I got to see how the work is getting on.

Door sensor now fixed (so the window goes up at least... now just the fibreglass repair and paint to go).

Drilled rear discs fitted

Rear 595 RS-Rs fitted Warren says the mix with the T1 Rs shouldn't be an issue.

New design of scuttle clips fitted to both sides. Very secure and no movement.

My interior super bright LEDs now fitted and the "Silver Key" has now been replaced with a latching button. However the Cerbera wiring does not like it to power the halo LED on it so that is not doesn't come on.

Now its just sort the home garage ready for her return next week.

Oh yeah and shouldn't have forgotten my warning buzzer now fitted to let me know if Ive left the headlights on when the engine has been turned off.

Are the scuttle clips from Top Cats? They look great, I've never seen them before!

Yeah it was all Topcats work. The clips underneath are gone and it uses those metal clips. Very nice I thought. Lined with a padding underneath to protect the scuttle itself... I'm also going to be chrome wrapping my scuttle mainly for heat reflection but the look will be collateral wink

Reset the throttle pots.

She wasn't running as she should with a low rpm hesitation and shunting a little so plugged the lap top in and the near side was reading 13.7 while drivers side was 14.4, set both to 14.4 and not all is smooth once more.

Just in at TC today coming on nicely.

The "Silver Key BUTTON" will now have a ring LED light. There had been a misunderstanding of my requirements so all good.

Oil leak now diagnosed an easy fix (when the engine is out) so Dom wants to hurry up and release the 4.7 so I can have it sorted lol

Wanted my extinguisher readily to hand (no use in the boot or behind the seat) but didn't want to drill any extra holes in the floor. Piece of 3mm chequer-plate, cropped to size of foot-well, bottle cage screwed to it. Voila.
Was going to cover it with carpet, but I quite like it the way it looks, for now anyway, until it ruins my Laboutins...

OK, how do I get the photo to display rather than just the link?

You need to open "more links codes" and use forum code. Although your photo only displays as thumbnail size......

Mines mounted to behind my seat. Seeing if there was a fire I'd be getting out so seemed the best place and not in my way mounted in front of the seat.

Coming from a rallying point-of-view, a fire extinguisher is not so much to save the car, but oneself... to buy exit time, to cool the zone; I want it where I can grab it whilst seated (God forbid, trapped) AND also readily accessible if I'm outside the car, but didn't want to run to a plumbed-in system. It doesn't impede exit.

Rotate it before you upload it to your hosting website. I use tinypic which is fine but overrun by ads!.

Fitted some ACT sports tails over the last few nights. Sound lovely but a real fiddle to fit properly. Takes a lot of patience to get them hung and aligned properly.
