Yesterday got a new MOT, and managed to do almost a tank of fuel in the process. Admittedly I did pop in to the new TVR Parts dept in Bordon, Hants, but only after going to their old place in Mytchett first by mistake.

Today I went to the supermarket in the Cerb yet again, but I have at least had a chance to take my real shopping car's engine apart to find out what was wrong - it's not pretty!

I really want to get the Smart back on the road, I hate going to the shops in the Cerb (in 5mph traffic in the rain).

Injectors back from cleaning...all reading v similar and good spray patterns.....installed....and adaptive maps reset.....taken for a leisurely drive....then a bit of hard acceleration.....wow!!!!!
With a bit of effort to get everything as balanced as possible and running sweetly.....it is now just an axe wielding maniac !!!!

Interesting! The last time my car ran like that was after a drive back from Spain which I attributed to the injectors having been cleaned out from so much driving. I should get mine done. Were they bad before the clean?

The flow rates are nicely balanced now. .....but it's the spray patterns that are the big difference.....some where very poor and now they are all good that had really helped idle and getting adaptives as close to 0 as possible......
Best value ever!!!!!

Really pleased. A couple of bits aren't perfect but that is due to the poorly fitted windscreen and the shocking silicone around it and the lights.

It looks wet and incredibly shiny but needs a colour sand to get rid of.some of the imperfections. Need to wait a couple of weeks for it to harden more first though.

I will take some pics of the metal flake once the sun comes out.

Yesterday boxes were collected and delivered to Powers along with a Saxo leccy PAS pump.

Loved being told the knock MBE has specific drivers for the pumps ECU and manages seamlessly so thats another mod Im looking forward too.

Got that covered Farmy... No I'm not doing the 4.5 thing as such, I will leave that to the AJPs.

Im having a plaque made for the plug cover on the Rocker. Cut Vinyl Red Rose logo with "4.5" in the centre and "SuperSports" written underneath. (they will be placed near the door latch so you see them when door opened)

and for the rear leaving it as it is but there will be a metallic red vinyl "SS" angled by the Cerbera. So it will be a SpeedSix just saying to anyone... go on I dare you wink

Today removed lenses to reseal them and also took a gamble i could remove the fibre glass trim on rear screen to respray it.

Over an hour spent to remove trim succesfully in 1 piece

Hey Russ, I'm aiming to get down for the Bucks meet, if it is still happening on the 2nd?

I'm putting that piece of trim (but mine is carbon fiber?) back in tomorrow. What did you use to reseal
Your lights?

Used sikaflex 221 and will also use same when I get to put the trim back on.

Hopefully you will make it to the meeting as I'm very keen to see this new paint type as finish looks stunning.

We still meet 1st Sunday in the month but location is now in Marsworth
