I hope you stick a remapped chip in the ECU as well?
I have it but not yet fitted as the car is on axle stands at the moment and a bit too close to the wall to open the door wide enough to get access to fit it....

With help from N7GTX on here, diagnosed a misfire as coil pack breaking down under load, so ordered new ones, then fitted my private plate. Took it to a local charity car show and parked it next to a black Lambo Avantador!
I suppose there's worse ways of spending a Saturday....

I am afraid not. The only other car in the workshop was a black one with a yellow chassis that I believe djstevec may know something about!

I think Andy moves them to his secure storage unit once the engine is out. When did you take it in?
I guess yours is the one mine was nose to nose with...

Late March...
Seems like a hell of a long time for an engine rebuild?

Took her out for a spin and lost all drive.
Currently sitting on the side of the road waiting for a recovery truck and contemplating setting it on fire.

Looks like the O/S half shaft has sheared.
I can't see it as the cv boot is still covering the area.

I think so, it's been a while since I've seen it! What's yours in for?

Took her to the Wentworth Woodhouse show near Barnsley and met 6 more TVRs - 2 Tuscans, Chimaera, Cerb and an oldie - plus a black wedge (the 7 litre nitrous one) parked alongside a Lagonda next to dozens of Rolls Royces. Good show and lovely weather.

Gave it a quick wash and polish this morning ready for the track day at cadwell park tomorrow. Then went to see my mum and the drivers seat back gave way. So spent the next couple of hours take the seats out and putting the passenger seat in the drivers side. So off to cadwell to thrash the arse of it to get my own back. biggrin

Removed all the coolant pipes and hoses.
Started making new ones in copper.
And replaced that stupid plastic y-piece from the heater with a brass one.
If anyone wants one, I have some more... smile

Skived off yesterday and gave her a proper clean and polish. Then decided to play with the ECU set-up as she was cutting out occasionally. Now idles very smoothly at 950 rpm after some tweaks to the throttle pots.

Drove to the over 80's meet at Sandtoft, err that was the owners average age biglaugh seriously though some awesomely prepared cars there and a good turn out, about 45 pre 80s and 20+ moderns as the old timers call us!

After fiddling with the throttle pots a few days ago, the car didn't have power and had a bad flat spot.
So, did the job properly today, starting at the beginning and setting it up by the manual and using the air gauge too. Both adaptives around -3, idle speed 950 and doesn't cut out. No flat spot and good throttle response. Thank f###. woohoo

Not happy. Wanted to silicone my new white front indicators in this morning only to find they supplied odd indicators:-
