Fitted the rear LED bulbs that arrived today (well the indicators, reverse and fog) awaiting the tail/brake bulbs to arrive which are a different fitting as the need the 2 stage activator.

I'll let the pros fit the front indicator bulbs... I also happen to be in communication with Plasticman and I think we have a interesting concept

I removed the 8 M8 bolts on the top ball joints - only took me 3 hours, plus lots of heat and luck, I actually managed to use the allen key!

Almost managed to finish fitting the front suspension. Thank you POR15 for helping me keep my car on the road. Doesn't look too bad in Black/Orange now, not that I'm too fussed - can't see it when I'm driving.

New double adjustable Protechs from Joolz, surprisingly lighter than their single adjustable counterparts and not that difficult to setup.

Drove the car to my local alignment shop after finishing replacing the front suspension.

Even though I only set up the Camber and Toe by eye, it feels so much better. I've replaced all bushes and ball joints as well as the upper wishbones. Now all the nervousness and skittishness has gone. The lower ball joints were stiff before I replaced them, the uppers were not stiff but I couldn't feel any play. The lower arm bushes were not great, but the drag strut bushes seemed fine, I didn't check the upper wishbone bushes.

I wish I'd done this years ago, wasn't easy though, lots of traps for the unwary as I found out to my cost.

After what seems like too long, I fitted decat pipes, new lambdas and gave her a wash. She now goes like a dream, plus with a new roarty exhaust tone. Just hoping I get the rest of the summer to enjoy her before some further work that may require the engine out (possible cracked head) and all that goes along with that! Where's that bottle of K seal gone?!!

Even though they're never a pussy cat, it shows a Cerbera can be made to handle and that their reputation is by and large due to bad setup from the factory imo.

Has anyone recently recovered their door cards in alcantara, if so where did you get the material and how much did you pay and use. It's on my to do list this year.

A 240mile round trip to Norwich and back using the Bedford bypass. While there managed to pick up my chrome interior liveries wink

Cerbera was brilliant throughout but I really think a discreet rear lip spoiler on the boot would make me feel more planted and confident in the long high speed bends. May have an alternator issue as when I got home boot wouldn't open, after back on the ctek for 30mins all good again?

Days like today leaves me thinking is a 4.3 or 4.5 rebuild even needed? the car was a joy and even in 4.0 mode I don't think it was near its limits.
