Today I will mostly be dropping my car off at STR8SIX for her to go on a 3 month holiday to have her chassis and suspension restored to better than new.
In February I expect to be very poor.
Exciting! When you get it back will you take me out and show me how I should be pushing mine please?!In February I expect to be very poor.

Thank you aide
Nothing much
Changed the wiper hose by a copper pipe
the plastic hose was burned through by the exhaust
So that ought to fix it once and for all.
Ah the old melted washer hose trick. Mine melted a few years ago, I replaced it in a rush with some clear hose, rather than black, it's still there today. I really must get around to changing it .....Nothing much

Today I drove forwards 200 yards and then reversed back again.
Before doing so I tried extricating myself from my parking space but backed in again after a few feet when I found that the power steering had failed - fortunately I'd simply forgotten to refill the reservoir.
Later I reversed back because I discovered that I had no power assisted brakes, but later on I found that the jubilee clip had simply slipped off the barbed connector(?) and was crimping the brake vacuum line instead.
So, now I reckon the car is actually drivable, as I've fixed the coolant and oil leaks, and it's taken a total of six hours. So that's all I needed to have the car ready for DN13, an extra six hours - how very annoying.
