Finished making a new engine wiring loom. Cost me about £200 for the connectors, wiring, and high-temp sleeving. All appears well, no magic smoke from the ECU, says all the sensors are good and gives sensible readings. Cant try and start it up until I've changed the aux shaft oil seal.

Drove my car for the first time since July (other than round the block) to the TVR Beds/Herts meet at Shuttleworth. Met Boutboy and Revvit amongst others and generally had a great time. No coolant leaks, despite challenging conditions on the gridlocked North Circular, but I do have an oil leak to fix, and a rough running issue (yet to be diagnosed).

Olly's car looks superb, I can't see anything that betrays the really unfair off at Spa. That is definitely down to Plasticman and the paintshop Olly used. However, as Olly said: That's two years I'm not getting back (mainly due to the chassic refurb).

Great meeting Mark as well, sounds like he is playing the long game and getting the car he wants, eventually...

All in all a good day, would recommend the meet to others within a sensible distance.

Front and back painted with the rest wrapped. Still have decals, rear wing to put back on, front grilles and lots of finishing touches. Very happy. Apologies for the filthy wheels. I have black ones too so keen to see which is preferred.

Last night decided to do a few jobs on the cerb. One was to remove the gear knob and shorten it, my knuckles clash with the stereo when things get excitable the second was to cure leaky oil hoses.

Nothing I just prepped it for its early run to power for 12k servic in the morninge. List of things being done are my red CP6600 calipers fitted with 350x30 front discs. New red braided HEL hoses, wheels are coming away with me to be powdercoated metallic gun metal, and leaky oil pipes addressed. Over the last year she has been great so will be thrilled to get back after the power touch. Oh and while away the garage floor is being laid which I am super excited about.

After being leveled I've gone for black/white marble effect resin tiles laid in a chessboard pattern.

Trip to powers this morning was great but when I got there not as straight forward as I was hoping. These hubs and calipers are turning into a fiasco. But in saying that the discs if all go on OK and the 6600 caliper mounts will be unreal

Oh yeah and SP12s came off and have been dropped at Powdercoaters for a metallic grey makeover.

Had a 12k service at Hexham Horseless Carriages.

They've done a fantastic job, the car feels brand new again and they've sorted out a nasty little electrical problem which if left, would have cut the supply to the cooling fans eventually.

Pointed out a few jobs that need doing so I'm still going to be busy in the New Year.

Went to take the Cerb out for the first time in three weeks - stunned when I saw the trickle charger plugged in but not turned up. Pressed the black button more in hope than expectation but fired up with no problems (new battery in Feb) and had a fun half hour hoon, getting back just as the rain started. Need some new tyres soon mind wink

Hi Mike. It is indeed and yes, I hope so. Still learning the animal but hoping to find a couple of rounds in 2016 that will work for me.
