What have you done to your car today......

On my 4.2, I managed to change the alternator belt without removing any fuel rail or inlet gubbings. I have got scraped knuckles though! My 10 year old did a grand job re-tightening the alternator mounts as I held it in tension for the new belt. I've been trying to eliminate a slight screechy sound at low revs, coming from either the alternator/belt or Air con pump/belt. Not sure yet if it has worked but the belt was pretty worn anyway. I need to get the aircon re-gassed, so the noise may be because the pump is totally empty or lacking anything to pump.
Took it for damned good thrashing en route to collecting my son from Cubs. Took me 45 mins going the long way to the pick up 3 miles away! Caused somewhat of a stir among the Cubs as I popped and banged into the car park. Needless to say the other parents were put in the shade as I pulled up among the euro boxes and Chelsea tractors. My son loved it, his face was a picture as we drove away with him waving at his mates!

A Griffith owner who can't read that it's a cerb forum lol. (sorry)Cooker hood filter cut to fit all air and boot vents, plus alloy scoops for the boot vent holes in the base of the tub.
Back home from Milbrook proving ground, 20th Birthday celebration. The little lady behaved impeccably all weekend......idle screw wound itself in a touch but once sorted......superb weekend of trouble free motoring ( ok no totally true I had the bonnet up a few times on the M25, more me worrying than anything else).
Now treating her to yet another wash after a spirited drive home via the Handheld tunnel......Happy boy lemon!!!

Got her back from the garage after 12k service, Protech damper rebuild, suspension rebuild with polybushes, 450 front and 400 rear spring rates, and a fast road geo setup. Feels awesome now, less rattly round bumpy bends and a more positive steering feel. Oh and it got rid of the annoying tapping sound from the rear.

Hey Chibbard,
That is one gorgeous Cerbera! I know the consensus re Spiders is not good but they look so right. Also matched with the Harlequin type paint that changes as you move around the car or as it passes you in this instance.
Fabulous. I wish mine looked half as good as that.
It would do if you left it in the garage for THREE YEARS at a time. That is one gorgeous Cerbera! I know the consensus re Spiders is not good but they look so right. Also matched with the Harlequin type paint that changes as you move around the car or as it passes you in this instance.
