See you Jimmy...

Today I sold my car. Spent the last year fixing, tinkering and repairing her. I bought it as a project and not a long term keeper so for the last 15 months she has kept me busy. This morning a nice chap drove her away and I must admit I was sad to see her go. I don't usually get attached to cars (have owned nearly 60 now) but, I don't know, something was different this time.
So, now I am car-less and no idea what to get next. She says I should get a T350 - which I do like the look of.
I know what you lot will say, that's a given, but going to look around and then decide. Whatever I get, a big thanks to all those who helped me at the start in my search and the support and info has been great.
(If you are wondering about the title, I originate from that non-independent country beyond Hadrian's wall )

Sorry to hear of your departure. We'll maybe see you back here one day I replaced my old 4.2 with a Tuscan and came back after a year or so. I'd love a Speed Six engined car in accompaniment to the AJP, but not in replacement of. TVRs are special cars; cheers for the advice you've given me through the forum recently and enjoy your next venture.
Thanks chaps.
Yesterday went to CITP at Lotherton and had a look at all the nice shiny stuff. Was forced into an Elise (Mk2) when they found out I'd just sold the car. Nice but not for me.
Then practically manhandled into a Tuscan and a Griff by some very persuasive owners. "Its open" - "Sit in it" - "Plenty legroom" - "Seats are comfy" - "Just done 300 miles to Portsmouth, across France and back" etc etc.
Tuscan is a possibility but the Griff with loud exhaust was very tempting. So now I am an expert on the Tuscans and Griffs for sale. The blackberry Griff at Racing Green looks bloody lovely....

Glad to have made you acquaintance Iain.
Hopefully bump into you & CITP in future.
This forum will miss your expertise.
As they say on your neck of the woods
Stay with TVR

Probably going to have a small project for a couple of months then probably back into a TVR. They do get under your skin.
As for Polmont? "get tae f###"
