Due to being offered the use of a runway a couple of months ago, followed by a track day or two and generally some poor driving on my part my clutch is on its last legs biting right at the top of the pedal travel.
Has anyone any experience of Racing Greens new clutch offering or having their existing clutch re lined.

Couldn't believe the price of an AP clutch. Didn't seem too long ago they where about half the price!

Try these people http://www.clutch-specialists.co.uk/

you take your clutch out and send it to them, then you give them a call and chat about the sort of use the car gets and will then rebuild it with the best possible friction material and all for about a third of an AP clutch.

It takes them about a week to turn them round and you get a years warrantee as you do with a new one.

I fitted the new Racing green clutch to my Tuscan, I think its superb and has a lot better feel than the old AP clutch.

You could have the friction discs relined, but I'm pretty sure AP wont supply the spring, which will have work hardened and may end up with fingers breaking off.

I've just fitted the racing green clutch + slave (and master). I'm still running it in, but overall it seems just fine to me. I think that what was the ultimate problem was the master cylinder rather than the clutch, so can't really comment on how different it is to the AP one.
